How to map Double data to HubSpot properties

In this article, we’ll explain how to choose which Double data is sent to your HubSpot properties.

After connecting your HubSpot account, you can choose how Double data maps to properties in HubSpot. Each mapping connects a Double field to a property on a HubSpot object.

Opening the mapping settings

  1. Open Settings in your Double dashboard.

  2. Go to Integrations and open the connected HubSpot integration.

  3. Open the property mapping screen.

If you have not connected HubSpot yet, start with How to integrate Double with HubSpot.

How the mapping columns work

The mapping screen has four columns:

  • Double object: The group of information you want to use.

  • Double property: The specific field within that group.

  • HubSpot object: The destination object in HubSpot, such as a Contact or Deal.

  • HubSpot property: The property on that object where the value should be stored.

Choose the source object and property in Double, then choose the destination object and property in HubSpot.

Adding a mapping

  1. Click Add mapping.

  2. Select the Double object.

  3. Select the Double property you want to send.

  4. Select the HubSpot object.

  5. Select the matching HubSpot property.

  6. Review your mappings and click Save.

The available Double data groups include Charge, Donation, Campaign, Recurring, Payment Method, Dedication, Donor, Fundraiser, and Questions.

For example, to map campaign information, choose the Campaign group, select the relevant campaign field, and choose the destination HubSpot object and property.

Locked mappings

Locked mappings cannot be changed. Use Add mapping to create additional mappings.

Checking your setup

After saving, review a relevant donation in Double and the corresponding record in HubSpot. Check that you are looking at the object and property selected in your mapping.

If a value is missing, note the donation, your mapping selections, and the HubSpot record. For delivery checks and resyncing, see Troubleshooting webhook and integration deliveries.
