Setting up donation designations

In this article, we’ll explain how to let supporters choose a category for their donation.

Designations let supporters choose what their gift supports within a campaign, such as education, food assistance, or community programs.

Adding designations

  1. Open Campaigns → your campaign → Checkout → Designations and enable Donation Designations.

  2. Add each designation and give it a name supporters will recognize.

  3. Choose a default designation and save your changes.

The default is selected when supporters open the checkout. Use the eye icon beside a designation to show or hide it.

If you use an integration, you can also add an External ID to identify the designation in that system.

Return to the same settings to edit your designations or change which choices supporters see.
