In this article, you'll learn how to verify Apple Pay in Wordpress via file manager plugin.
If you don’t already have a file manager plugin installed, you can add one:
Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
Go to Plugins > Add New.
Search for "File Manager" and install a plugin like File Manager by mndpsingh287 or Advanced File Manager.
Activate the plugin.

Apple Pay requires a secure website. Ensure your WordPress site has an SSL certificate installed and properly configured, accessible via HTTPS.
Log in to your Double dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations > Apple Pay.
Click Verify domain > Add new domain, enter your website URL and download the verification file to your computer.
Go to the File Manager by navigating to File Manager in your WordPress admin menu. You’ll see a file explorer interface that allows you to browse and manage your site’s files.
Look for the root directory of your WordPress installation. This is often named
public_html,htdocs, or something similar, depending on your hosting setup.Ensure you are in the root folder where WordPress is installed (you should see folders like
wp-admin,wp-content, andwp-includes).Check if a
.well-knowndirectory already exists in your root directory.If it doesn’t exist, create it:
Right-click in the File Manager interface and select Create Folder or New Folder.
Name the folder
.well-known.
Open the
.well-knowndirectory.Click the Upload button in the File Manager interface.
Upload the verification file from your computer.
Go back to the Apple Pay verification dialog in Double and click Verify.
